（1）insist动词，“坚持，坚持认为”

用法1：insist+that从句，若从句部分指的是说话人的某个事实或某个观点正确，则宾语从句用陈述语气。

The suspect insisted that he was not guilty．

用法2：若宾语从句部分不是指说话人强调的一个事实，而是表示“坚决要求”的意思时，宾语从句用虚拟语气，也就是谓语动词用“should + 动词原形”，should可以省略。Insist that sb （should）do sth 坚持要求某人做某事

（2）insist on/upon doing sth “坚持（做）某事”
