【题型分析】

说明文是中考英语书面表达比较常见的一种体裁，其特点是对事物或做事情的方法进行客观介绍。

其主要命题形式为图表式作文，有时也以图画式和提纲式作文来呈现写作材料。从内容上大致可分为三个类型：事物介绍、问题方法介绍、路线、方位介绍等。

写作特点：语言要简明扼要，通俗易懂，说明过程讲究层次性和条理性。

时态与人称：这种文体通常用第三人称，时态以一般现在时为主。

英语说明文的主要目的是解释、描述或阐明某个事物或现象的特征、性质、原理、功能、原因或影响等。为了达到这个目的，英语说明文通常需要遵循一定的结构。

写说明文宜采用三段式：

【写作方法】

写作时应遵循以下几个步骤：

1．仔细审题，明确说明对象，抓住要说明的事物或事理的主要特征。

2．选择合理的说明顺序（时间顺序、空间顺序或逻辑顺序）分层次进行说明，注意条理清晰。

3．选择恰当的说明方法，比如定义法、举例法、比较法和细节描述法等，不要遗漏主要内容。

4．根据说明顺序及内容确定过渡词和恰当的句型结构。文字应客观、简洁、明了，不要追求华丽和加入太多个人观点。

（一）事物说明文

要写好事物说明文应注意以下几点：

1． 要善于抓住事物的特征

介绍事物，一定要抓住事物的特征。所谓特征，就是这一事物区别与其他事物的标志。只有抓住了事物的特征，才能将其状貌、性质、成因、功能和意义等说的明白、清楚。这种写作方法尤其适用于描写大家所熟悉的而又具有新的、与众不同的特征的事物。

2． 要遵循一定的顺序

介绍一件事物，目的是让读者清楚地了解事物本身的特点、性质以及用途等，因此更需要条理清楚。我们可以按以下三类顺序说明事物：

（1）时间顺序，即按事物的发生、发展的先后顺序进行说明。

（2）空间顺序，即按事物空间位置的顺序，由上至下，由近及远或由里至外地进行说明。

（3）逻辑顺序，即按人们认识事物的规律进行说明，如由概括到具体，由整体到部分，由现象到本质，由表及里，由原因到结果，由主要到次要，由特点到用途等。

3． 运用恰当的语言

介绍事物，文字要力求简洁、明白、准确。除讲究语言平实准确的前提下，我们还可以运用描写的方法，来增添文章的可读性。

（二）问题方法介绍说明文

常见的方式、方法说明文有学习方法指导、产品使用说明、操作程序介绍、计划安排等。

1． 表示建议：should, had better do, suggest, advice, …is a good way…

2． 表示步骤：first of all, at last, and then, after that…

3． 表示计划：plan / prepare for/ to do, be going to, will…

【常用句型】
