一、重点词汇讲解

1． summer holiday 暑假

例：暑假计划summer holiday plans = plans for the summer holiday

你的暑假计划是什么？What is your plan for the summer holiday?

孩子们正在讨论他们的暑假计划。The children are talking about their plans for the summer holiday．

  用法：主要是对一段时间进行提问，答语通常是时间段，它可用于各种时态！

拓展：how long还常常用来询问事物的长度。

例：–这条河有多长？How long is the river?

5． sound 听起来 v． 听起来，听上去

发音：ou /au/

 用法：sound +形容词

例：那听起来不错。That sounds great．

听起来好的sound nice

他的计划听起来不错。His plan sounds great．

6． photo 照片

复数：photos

例：给你看一些照片show you some photos= show some photos to you

拍照take a photo

给…拍照take a photo of sb．

给我拍照take a photo of me

7． travel 旅游v．

三单: travels 过去式：travelled 现在分词：travelling

例：阅读一本旅游书read a travel book

与山姆谈论他的旅行计划talk about his travel plans with Sam

8． traveller 旅行者n．

例：我想成为一名旅行者。I want to be a traveler．

海洋公园里有许多游客。There are a lot of travellers in Ocean Park．

二、重难点讲解

【解析】talk about意为“讨论，谈论”，后接名词或代词（人称代词的宾格形式）作宾语。

【例句】People in the UK often talk about the weather．英国人经常谈论天气。

【解析】(1)问句为由where引导的含有will的一般将来时的特殊疑问句，句型结构为“Where十will十主语十动词原形十其他？”，用来询问某人将在哪里做某事，回答时用“主语十will十动词原形十地点状语．”。

(2)答句中的go back to译为“回到，返回”，后接地点名词（短语）；当后面接的是地，点副词时，地点副词前不可以加to。

【例句】(1)–Where will they go next week?他们下个星期将去哪里？

–They will go to the West Lake．他们将去西湖。

(2)Every day my brother and I go back home on time after school．

每天我和我的哥哥放学后都按时回家。

【知识拓展】辨析go back和come back

两者都有“回”的意思，但是动作的方向相反。go back意为“回到，返回”，是指从说话者所在的地方回到另一个地方；come back意为“回来”，是指回到说话者所在的地方。例如：

(1)Ben works in China now． He will go back to Canada next spring．

本现在在中国工作。他明年春天将回到加拿大。

(2)I’m going to the supermarket．I’ll come back in an hour．

我打算去超市。我将于一个小时后回来。

【练习】根据中文提示完成对话。

–你将什么时候回到南京？–下个星期四。但是我不会坐飞机回去。

–_________will you_________ _________ _________ Nanjing?

–Next Thursday． But I_________ _________ _________ by plane．

【答案】When, come back to, won’t go back

【解析】(1)how long意为“多久”，用来询问某个动作或状态所持续的时间，其答句应包含一段时间，而不是某个时间点。

(2)答句中的介词for表示一段时间，后接较长的时间段。

【例句】–How long have you been working in this hospital?你在这家医院工作多久了？

–I have been working here for ten years．我已经在这里工作十年了。

【知识拓展】how long还可以表示“多长”，用来询问物品的长度。例如：

How long is the river?这条河多长？
