一、重点词汇讲解

1． dream 梦想 /driːm/ n． 名词

发音:字母组合 dr在 dream中发/dr/。

短语: great dreams 伟大的梦想

例句: If you work hard every day, your dream can come true．如果你每天努力工作，你的梦想就能实现。

拓展：作动词，意为“做梦；梦想”

搭配 ：dream of/about   sb．/sth 梦到某人/某事

doing sth 梦到某事梦想做某事

例如：I dreamed about you last night．我昨夜梦见你了。

用法：care about后可接名词、代词、动词-ing形式

二、重难点讲解

【解析】ask sb about sth意为“询问某人关于某事（的情况）”。ask后所接的宾语如果是人称词,则人称代词要用其宾格形式。ask后也可接动词不定式，即ask sb to do sth，意为“要求某人做某事”。

【例句】(l)Nancy is asking her cousin about the summer holiday．

南希正在询问她的堂弟关于暑假的事情。

(2)Mr Green often asks his son to clean the bedroom by himself．

格林先生经常要求他的儿子自己打扫卧室。

【练习】用所给词的适当形式填空。

【解析】特殊疑问句“What do you want to be in the future?”用来询问对方将来想从事什么职业，be在此问句中译为“成为”。回答时用“I want to be a/an十表示职业的名词。”。

–I want to be a singer．我想成为一名歌手。

【知识拓展】辨析in the future和in future

in the future意为“在将来，在未来”，特指在将来、未来的某一特定时间段，常用于一般将来时态的句子中；in future意为“今后；从今以后”，指从现在往后的一段将来时间，相当于from

now on。例如：

(1)What will life be like in the future?将来的生活将是什么样子的？

(2)I hope they’ll be more careful in future．我希望他们从今以后更小心点。

【练习】根据中文提示，完成下面的对话。

【解析】(l)care about意为“关心，在乎”，其后可接名词、代词、动词-ing形式和宾语从句。
