1．How do I get to your home, Su Hai?

  知识点:问路和指路用语

用法：“How do I get to + 目的地？”，用于问路，to后面接地点名词，如果后接地点副词here,there,home

时则不用需要加to。其答语根据实际情况来回答。如： 

(1)–How do I get to the supermarket? 我怎样才能到达超市？

–You can take the bus．你可以乘公共汽车。

(2)– How do I get there?  我怎么到那儿呢？

— You can get there on foot．It’s near here． 你可以步行去，很近的。

拓展: (1) 常用的问路的句型还有：

①Where is+ 地点？…在哪里？

②Is there a/an+ 地点+ near here? 这附近有一吗？

③Can you tell me the way to+ 地点？ 你能告诉我去…的路吗？

(2)常用的指路的句型有：

①You can get on the bus/metro at+ 站点名称，and get off at+站点名称。

你可以在…站上公共汽车/地铁，在…站下公共汽车/地铁

②Go/Walk along this street/road．沿着这条街/路走。

③Turn left/right at the (first/second/third/…) traffic lights．

在（第一/二/三人…个）交通灯处向左/右转。

(3)路程问答

–How far is it from here? 它离这儿有多远？

大约…．米/千米远。/从这里步行大约…．分钟。

  知识点：英语中交通方式的表达方法

用法：(1) 用“by + 交通工具”表示交通方式。如：by bike, by bus, by car, by plane等。

例如：They go to school by metro every day．

✮ 注意：by后面的交通工具名词是单数，而且名词前面不能加任何修饰词。

用“take a/the + 交通工具”表达交通方式。如take a bus, take a train等。

  例如：Mr Smith often takes a train to work．

You’d better take the bus to go there．

✮ 注意：“骑自行车”要用ride a bike来表示。

3．They wait for the bus at the bus stop．

  知识点：wait for的用法

用法：wait for意为“等待”，后接名词或代词作宾语。如果宾语为人称代词，则人称代词要用其宾格

形式。

例句：–Where can I wait for Mr Brown?

–You can wait for him in the meeting room．

4．My home is next to it．

  知识点: next to为介词短语，意为“在…旁边”

用法: 后接名词或代词的宾格形式

拓展：beside意为“在…旁边”，多指空间上的距离；near意为“在…附近”，多指空间或时间上的距离，

且它形容的空间上的距离一般比beside形容的距离远；next to意为“在…旁边”，强调紧挨着。

例句：(1) The post office is next to/beside the bank．

(2) Helen lives near her good friend’s house．

5．She asks a policeman for help．

  知识点：ask sb for help意为“向某人求助”

用法：ask sb for help意为“向某人求助”，此处help为不可数名词，意为“帮助”。

例句：Can I ask you for help，Mum?妈妈，我可以向你求助吗？

6．Excuse me, how do I get to the bookshop on Moon Street?

知识点：excuse me意为“劳驾；对不起”，主要用来引起他人注意或因打扰别人而表达歉意。它可以

用于多种场合，其他常见的用法还有：

用法：用来客气地打断或纠正别人说的话，如：

Excuse me, but I don’t think so．对不起，但是我不这样认为。

用于聚会场合，需要中途离开时，如：

Excuse me, but I have to leave for a while．对不起，但是我得离开一会儿。

用来礼貌地询问某事、提出自己的请求或征求对方的许可，如：

Excuse me, what’s the time now?劳驾，现在几，点了？

例句：Excuse me, can you tell me the way to City Cinema?

五、重点语法

一、本单元的重点是如何来问路及其回答，重点学习了how引导的特殊疑问句的用法，用于问路，其句式为 “How do I get to + 目的地？”，是问路时常用的表达方式之一，to后面接地点名词，如果后接地点副词here，there，home时则不用需要加to。其答语根据实际情况来回答。

例如： —How do I get to the supermarket? 我怎样才能到达超市？

         —You can take the bus．你可以乘公共汽车。

         — How do I get there?  我怎么到那儿呢？

         — You can get there on foot．It’s near here． 你可以步行去，很近的。

1．Asking the way （问路）以zoo为例，来看看有几种问路的句型：

—-Excuse me, How do I get to the zoo?  How do I get there?

—-Excuse me, can you tell me the way to the zoo, please?

—-Can you show me the way to the zoo?      

—-Where’s the zoo?

—-Can you tell me how to get to the zoo?    

—-Which is the way to the zoo?

2．几种常见的指路用语：

Go/Walk along …沿着……走

Turn left/right at …在……向左转/右转

Get on/off …at …在……上/下……

You can take the …To get there．你可以乘……到达那儿。

You can see …on your left/right．你能在你的左侧/右侧看到……

It’s next to …/in front of …/behind …/near

二、交际指南

在向人问路之前，一般说“Excuse me”，这样一方面可引起对方注意，另一方面又显得比较客气。Excuse me，译成汉语不一定总是“对不起”，此时也可译成“劳驾”“请问”等。而我们学过的“Sorry”也是“对不起”的意思，一般是向别人道歉时用。

“向左转（右）转”英语有两种常用的说法：turn left（right）或turn to the left（right）。另外，按照我国的交通规则是“行人靠右”，而在英国，你会看到这样的交通标牌Keep left．/Keep to the left（靠左边走）。

有时人们在给对方指路后还往往加上一些句子，以表示他的引路信息介绍完毕。如：You can’t miss it．（你不会找不到的。）You are sure to get there．（你一定会到达那儿的。） You can’t go wrong．（你不会走错的。）
