专题11祈使句

一、定义

祈使句是用来表示请求、命令、劝告或建议等的句子。祈使句习惯上常常省略主语, 句末用感叹号或句号, 朗读时一般用降调。

例：No smoking!

禁止吸烟！

Don’t play with fire!

不要玩火。

二、用法

★★祈使句的形式
1． 祈使句的肯定形式
祈使句的肯定形式谓语用动词原形。
例：Look at the blackboard． 看黑板。

2． 祈使句的否定形式
祈使句的否定形式谓语用“don’t/never＋动词原形”。
例：Don’t worry． 别担心。
Never mind． 别介意。

3． 由let引导的祈使句
Let me see． 让我想想。
Let’s go home． 咱们回家吧。

4． 祈使句的强调式
肯定祈使句前面可用助动词do来加强语气。
例：Do be careful! 务必小心！

5． 不含动词的祈使句
不含动词的祈使句是祈使句的特殊形式, 这种祈使句由一个单词、词组或短语组成。
例：One moment, please． 请稍等一会。

★★祈使句的用法
1． 表示请求
Turn on the radio, please． 请把收音机打开。

2． 表示命令
Stop talking! 别讲话！

3． 表示提醒或警告
Look out! The car is coming． 当心！车来了。

4． 表示禁止
No swimming． 禁止游泳。

5． 表示邀请
Have some fruit! 吃些水果吧！
